Chitemene Secondary School
Our CSR activities have continued from last year and we are going strong with assisting as much as we can. One of the groups we assisted was the Mhondoro-Marirangwe-Manyame Trust (MMMT Trust). MMMT approached Edgars appealing for assistance for orphaned school children at Chitemere Secondary School in the form of school fees and essentials. Edgars was humbled by the work the MMMT Trust does for these disadvantaged children, and was pleased to be able to donate $2 000 towards this worthy cause. This money was put towards covering the school fees of thirty-five children, providing uniforms, and purchasing other essentials such as writing materials and blankets. The children were truly grateful and wrote some touching letters to Edgars to express their thanks. One such student was Ruth Munemo. Edgars Stores continues to strive to positively impact communities across Zimbabwe, and we wish all the assisted children all the very best in their academic careers.

My name is Ruth Munemo. I am a girl aged sixteen. I am writing this letter in appreciation of what you have been doing for us as MMMT wards.
I am truly grateful for the assistance you have given me as an orphaned and disadvantaged child. My parents died when I was still young. My grandmother didn't manage to pay my school fees.
I would like to thank you for the school fees you are paying for me because the fees kept me learning without problems. As one of the kids, I would like to say thank you for the blankets and also the clothes you gave me. May the Lord bless you abundantly.
